I'm in Charleston going to a racetrack in Alabama this weekend, Talladega Gran Prix raceway http://www.tgprace.com/about_track.htm I'll be driving through Columbia and was wondering if anyone up there is into motorcycles and wants to tag along. I'm asking because it's a long drive to do without someone to talk to and I could use help with some small things while at the track. I'll be in columbia around 4pm Friday and coming back through columbia on the way back at around 10pm Sunday night. I'm paying for all the gas, your only cost would be whatever food you want to eat (I'll have a small propane grill) and there's a $5/day gate fee (so $10). I should also mention in case you're afraid of nature that we'll be camping at the track (almost everyone does inside their fancy RVs but I don't have an RV so I use a tent). I find it quite comfortable with my 4 person tent and full size air mattress but if you're afraid of camping then this probably isn't for you. Note that we are inside a secure, gated racetrack with locked gates and lots of people around so safety isn't an issue. There are also heated bathrooms with showers. There will be about 75 bikes at the track and it'll be a fun weekend if you're into bikes or racing. I don't mind if you bring a friend. If you want more info let me know!
