Job Description <br>
As a Scheduler, you will provide support to the project management team in the form of project scheduling, monitoring and analysis. Work closely with project management team in setting project goals and analyzing the status of projects. Candidate is responsible for insuring the timely creation and maintenance of project schedules and reports. Must be able to integrate construction or Department of Energy “DOE” schedules into a master program schedule and continuously monitor progress with milestones and autonomy as well as develop and implement a monthly earned value analysis report. Create, monitor and maintain multiple schedules using Primavera P3. Aid the team in defining the projects goals, objectives, success factors etc. <br>

Requirement <br>
*4 year degree required <br>
<br>
*Must have experience with Primavera (latest version) <br>
<br>
*Must have 10+ years experience as a cost engineer/scheduler <br>
<br>
*Must understand and utilizes PM processes and philosophies to advise management on project status. <br>
<br>
*Actively participants with the project management team assisting in meeting project deadlines. <br>
<br>
*Works effectively with internal and external clients. <br>
<br>
*Responsible for maintaining a safe workplace and ensuring that safety is the highest priority in the workplace. <br>
<br>
*Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of management and personnel both verbally and written. <br>
<br>
*Performs other duties as assigned <br>
<br>
*Travel may be extensive depending on client’s needs <br>

Evaluates facilities needs, prepares work scope and specs, obtains quotes and works with contractors/mill personnel to implement solutions.  Prepares annual maintenance budget for buildings, roads, etc.  Prepares annual painting budget for buildings, equipment, tanks, etc.<br>
<br>
Specific Job Activities:<br>
-	Prepares work scope and specifications, obtains quotes and works with outside contractors or mill personnel to implement above budgets<br>
-	Evaluates facilities needs mill wide and submits annual budgets for capital funds, building/road repairs and painting of buildings, tanks, equipment<br>
-	Performs structural inspections of buildings, roofs, roads, etc. on a predetermined schedule and maintains a priority list at all times.  The same applies to tanks, structural steel and equipment regarding painting needs<br>
-	Manages some capital projects associated with facilities or area of expertise<br>
-	Attends certification seminars for handling of hazardous material (i.e., asbestos, lead paint removal, etc.) and works with the Mill EHS Department to insure that contractors meet all regulatory requirements on these subject matters<br>
-	Performs design work for own projects<br>
<br>
Skills and Training:<br>
-	B.S. Degree in Mechanical / Civil Engineering<br>
-	Minimum of 5 years experience<br>
-	Experience in facilities maintenance (i.e., building repairs, roof repairs/replacement)<br>
-	Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time and set priorities<br>
-	Ability to interface with multiple individuals within the mill and contractors, vendors, etc. from outside<br>
-	Experience in Microsoft Office - Proficient in Excel<br>

FACILITIES/ROOF CONSULTING ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT MANAGER <br>

PSI, an established engineering consulting firm, has career opportunities for a Facilities Consulting Department Manager based in our Hillside office. The department provides professional services to owners, designers and constructors and generally includes Property Condition Assessments (PCA), specialty field testing services, existing structure investigation and rehabilitation services, exterior facade and EIFS consulting, accessibility audits (ADA & FHA), pavement assessments and design and a full range of roofing consulting and QC services <br>
<br>
Facilities Department Manager duties to include: <br>
<br>
• Responsible for the operational and financial management of the Facilities Department: business development, proposal preparation, client management, personnel resource management, technical/project management, report review and preparation and profit/loss responsibility <br>
• Participate in pre-bid meetings, pre-construction meetings, project meetings, and client interfacing activities <br>
• Perform field surveys and assessments, prepare facility component/system improvement reports, assist design team in preparing bidding documents, technical specifications, drawings and specific construction recommendations. <br>
<br>
Requirements: <br>
<br>
• BA or BS Degree in Architectural, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering. <br>
• Significant experience with Building Design, Construction, Systems and Facility Management in a consulting role. <br>
• Excellent communication and organizational skills. <br>
• AIA or PE License <br>
• Strong business development (SALES!), project and personnel management skills required. <br>
