Our Client is a 200-bed, all-private, acute-care facility, is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) and certified by the American Heart Association as a "Get With the Guidelines" facility. It is a progressive, community-oriented organization offering such services as 24-hour emergency care, acute care, skilled nursing (14-bed unit), physical and occupational therapy, chemical dependency treatment, heart catheterization, intensive care (10-bed unit), coronary care (10-bed unit), women and children's services and home health and hospice care. The medical staff of over 120 physicians represents 28 specialties.
Description
Responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation. Responsible for directing, coordinating all nursing care based on established clinical nursing practices. Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Current state Registered Nurse license: or eligible for immediate state license.
Able to meet physical and sensory requirements of job.
Able to successfully complete orientation of job performance.
Able to meet health standards for hospital performance.
Maintain Basic life Support (BLS/CPR) Certification.
Prior acute-care experience preferred, new graduates will be considered.
Must be highly motivated and committed to a quality of care that emphasizes the patient first.
