Hi I'm in law enforcement and due to a special assignment i need a room to stay in Columbia for about 1 year maybe a little more or a little less. This wouldn't happen until probably Christmas time, maybe even early January. I am looking for a private room in a house or apartment. It has to be drug free and drama free, I am looking for a safe, private, and weird free person to stay with (I am not looking to live with a partier, or very younger person who has friends over all the time and loud music...etc.) I am starting a sort of internship type job in Columbia for law enforcement. I live on the coast but will need to stay in Columbia about 2 to 3 nights a week. Sometimes I wont stay at all in a week, sometimes I'll stay just once a week it all depends on what is going on. I will always drive back home on the weekends so I'd never be there Friday Saturday or Sunday. (Sometimes I will go a couple of weeks of not going to your room, but still need it to be available) I would love to find someone who is not financially motivated but mostly wants to help and wouldn't mind the company plus likes the whole living with a police car on the driveway thing. I would prefer a place that maybe charges per night I stay since it gonna vary so much. I'll be driving back to my wife and kids here on the beach when not at your room. Anyhow, since I don't need a permanent place, a hotel is very expensive and an apartment lease would be too. So I am basically looking for someone who wouldn't mind hosting a sane law enforcement officer who is a clean, private person a few nights a week for a while. I would be working all day, so it would basically be only from 5-6pm til bedtime then go to bed and off to work in the morning. (I'd never be there during the day because if I'm off I'd be home here on the beach) If you live alone and this sounds interesting or if you have a spare room, and could use the company let me know and we'll start talking thru e-mail about arrangements and expectations money...etc Again not looking for romance, or a permanent place, just a room to sort of stay in and put my head down a couple of nights a week. I know of other officers who have done this in the past and know there are folks out there who love the idea of a cruiser parked in their yard, and it has worked out great for everybody.

Located about 1.5 miles to Lake Murray, the house is 5 years old and is 4300 square feet on about a 1 acre lot. 4 Bedrooms, 3 full baths, 1 half bath, hardwood floors throughout the downstairs living area and kitchen. Tiled bathrooms and carpet upstairs and in all bedrooms. The upstairs also features a 2nd kitchen and a 2nd master suite making a fantastic in-law suite. Home is in a small neighborhood (less than 15 houses). The home was appraised for $400,000 when I purchased it in 2007. It is currently rented for $1,750 per month until June 2010 as I was holding on until the market picks back up. However, alternative arrangements can be made with the current lease for the right deal.

Hello! I am looking for an apartment for just me in the $400-500 a month range. Im not superbly picky. I am moving to South Carolina by the 1st of November. I currently live in Vermont. My sister lives in Columbia and is willing to go look at apartments for me should the need arise for it. I am clean, relatively organized and do not party or do drugs. I am 21 and I do smoke but am very accustomed to smoking outside and am actually going to quit for health reasons. My credit is not very good Im afraid but that is being cleared up.
