DESCRIPTION  <br>
The Production Supervisor will provide direct supervision and leadership for the 2nd shift Debone production area(s) within the plant.<br>

- Supervise and train production employees (span of control is 75+ hourly employees).<br>
- Work with all employees to ensure production/yield requirements are met on a daily basis.<br>
- Ensure safety of all employees.<br>
- Work with Quality Assurance Department Personnel to ensure all customer specifications and USDA requirements are met.<br>
- Maximize yields and throughputs.<br>
- Minimize downtime, accidents and turnover.<br>
- Complete daily reporting for department (i.e. production reports, attendance/staffing report, etc.)<br>
- Plan and implement process improvements.<br>
- Actively participate in team meetings.<br>
- Works to build and maintain effective relationships with employees and customers. <br>
- Participates in the development of all employees within designated area.<br>
- Enforce Company policies and procedures.<br>
- Administer corrective action plans or disciplinary action on a consistent basis.<br>

Our Client, a premier consumer product good company with offices worldwide, is seeking an experienced Production Manager in their North Carolina facility. <br>
<br>
Responsibilities:<br>
<br>
The right candidate will be responsible for supervising a process production team and sanitation activities. This individual must maintain excellent quality, sanitation, safety and production standards for this second shift operation.<br>
<br>
Make certain that sufficient supplies and resources are available to meet the production standards. Ensure availability of adequate supplies and materials needed to meet and exceed productivity standards. Responsibility of managing close to 100 employees with scheduling and keeping them accountable for results to obtain certain goals and objectives. Adherence to GMP, Safety, and all other plant policies.<br>

This position will provide an excellent opportunity for self-motivated, flexible individuals who enjoy challenging and diverse job responsibilities.<br>

Requirements:<br>
<br>
BS. / BA, Degree preferred or equivalent work experience<br>
•	Must be Bilingual/ Biliterate English & Spanish.<br>
•	3 or more years experience supervising employees directly in a food production environment.<br>
•	Strong preference to individuals who have worked in a refrigerated or climate controlled environment and is monitored by the FDA.<br>
•	Ability to motivate and train people and monitor the safety & quality of the products produced and the safety of the employees managed.<br>
•	Must be authorized to work in the USA.<br>

<p>Job Summary and Mission&nbsp;&nbsp;<br>
This job contributes to Starbucks success by coordinating the movement of raw materials from warehouse storage to production locations as well as moving product from warehouse to distribution centers in accordance with production, delivery schedules and other business requirements. Models and acts in accordance with Starbucks guiding princples.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

Summary of Key Responsibilities&nbsp;&nbsp;<br>
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:&nbsp;&nbsp;<br>
- Completes required documentation of product and raw material movement. Supports scheduled production throughput levels to meet team goals for reliability and budget standards.&nbsp; Business Requirements<br>
- Coordinates movement of raw materials from the warehouse to production locations. Initiates material moves to Work in Process (WIP) locations based on data from transfer reports. Reviews and acts upon messages from the computerized inventory system.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br>
- Ensures all outbound product is available for distribution&nbsp;&nbsp;<br>
- Ensures quality by continually reviewing work to detect and correct errors.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br>
- Maintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.&nbsp; Business Requirements<br>
- Manages dock door and tracks incoming purchase orders. Works with scheduling partners to identify shortages in production plan and communicate to appropriate departments and partners.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br>
- Perform inventory counts, reconcile and make visual check of on-hand raw materials, and execute test requests.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br>
- Performs a range of shipping, receiving and inventory control duties, including loading and unloading of trailers, replenishing stock, and filling orders.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br>
- Works to resolve shipping errors&nbsp;<br> </p>

- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing&nbsp;&nbsp;<br>

- Flexibility to work overtime as required, even on short notice&nbsp;&nbsp;<br>
- Knowledge of Material Resource Planning (MRP) systems and their applications&nbsp;&nbsp;<br>
- Ability to follow verbal direction&nbsp;&nbsp;<br>
- Ability to understand written policies and guidelines, specifications and safety standards&nbsp;&nbsp;<br>
- Familiarity with American Institute of Baking (AIB), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) standards&nbsp;&nbsp;<br>
- Knowledge of equipment maintenance&nbsp;&nbsp;<br>
- Ability to operate required material handling equipment&nbsp;&nbsp;<br>
- Ability to work in accordance with quality, safety, and sanitation standards, policies and guidelines&nbsp;&nbsp;<br>
