There is what they call a basketball/tennis court- however it needs updates badly- maintenance obviously has not been doing there job. The only other expense other than rent is electric and I can tell you the bill has been right around $70/mo- obviously this will differ depending on your living habits. The electric can be kept in our name to help you avoid setup/new service fees, however, you will be responsible to make timely payment on this. After the first late payment you will need to transfer it in your name immediately.

I don't need a roommate, but I do prefer one because of my current situation.
I will reduce the rent in return for regular use of your vehicle or rides to and from work on a daily basis. I need to be at work no later than 5:30am, and I normally finish at about 5pm. I work only 10min or about 5 miles from this apartment community. I do not have a vehicle of my own and I do not want to get one since I am likely to move overseas very shortly. The reduce rent rate should be considered payment for use of vehicle and/or regular rides. If you have an extra vehicle that I can use as my own, then I would be willing to reduce the rent even more than simply promised rides/regular use.
This is a good situation for someone who is responsible and wants to save extra money..or maybe someone who often flies (leaving their car behind) a lot for business.
You will have to fill-out a background check at the front desk and would be listed as a roommate on the lease, but you are not locked into any lease agreement. If I move, you are free to move, as well. As long as you have a clear criminal record (driving/parking violations not big unless multiple DUIs) and proof of some sort of regular income, you will be clear for move in. I don't have the best credit history and I was completely fine:)
Pets are ok, but there is a $100 deposit.
I have a small dog - a Maltese. If you have a pet, s/he must get along with small dogs.

I don't know if this is the right place to post this so here it goes... Right now i'm renting a 1 bed/1 bath bedroom apt and have a futon, if possible id like to stay in this apt complex upgrade to a 2 bedroom if possible with a roomate. I graduated last May I have a real job i pay my bills on time and no trouble paying them. My problem is when I finally get done with work M-F i just want to relax and not deal with tidying up and stuff. I have a adorable 6 month old boxer puppy who gets my free time so. Girlfriend and I currently rent a 4br House (1800sq/ft). Our 2 roommates moved out a few months ago, and we need some more. Master br and 1 spare are used by myself (they are the 2 smallest bedrooms). Parks 5 not including street. House has central air/heat. Unfinished attic for storage.

House is VERY "tech friendly". "Theater" (Living-room) has 1080p projector /w surround sound instead of TV. Wired/Wireless networking provided along with access to my network (play nice). My file server has 6+ terabytes on Gigabit. Video games and movies are encouraged.

The 2 bedrooms for rent share a hallway bathroom. 1 is 10x10 the other is 9x10 with a bigger closet. I have a Queen size and a Full size bed if you need one for the room.

We like living with others and consider the house a "community". We split chores and I often cook for everyone in the house. You and your friends are welcomed to watch movies in the "theater". We play games with each other all the time (Rock Band or anything on 360/Wii really). That said, if you are a private person and want to be left alone, participation is not required.

Roommates must be respectful of one another and understand that they may be asked to change a routine once in a while. For example, If the base is in an exercise, and someone is working the weekend/nights, it is NOT OK to blare music or have a party with your friends. Basic respect and helping keep the house clean/fun are required.

Rent includes all utilities and the use of our Washer, Dryer, Refrigerator, Oven, Appliances (toaster/microwave/etc..). You will be expected to sign a renters agreement (I have learned from experience unfortunately). I'm OK with you paying me directly each month, or putting you on the official lease. Payments are due each month on or about the same day. Cash/Check are OK, though if you are military I'd prefer an allotment (so much easier for the both of us).

The plan would be to split the rent/utilities evenly amongst the rooms. This means that if you have a significant other I'm OK with them living with you as long as they follow the same rules as the rest of us, and that the room still costs you the same amount. It also means that when I fill BOTH rooms for rent, its cheaper for all of us.

Right now the House costs $1200 a month for everything. So its an even $600 with 1 of you, and $400 when a second moves in. Here is the current total (note, electricity/water are bound to go up with more people).
