They are in need of a Sr. VB.net Developer to join their development team. This position offers a competitive salary and excellent benefits.
They are planning two major releases of their product this year and need this person to come in with expertise in the technologies they are currently using. This person will join a team of 5 developers.
This position is located in Raleigh, NC.
Requirements:
7+ years software development experience required
Strong Object Orientation skills
Visual Studio 2008 or 2005 (2 years minimum)
Visual Studio 2003 or 2001 (2 years minimum)
.NET Framework 3.0 (1 year minimum)
.NET Framework 2.0 or 1.1 (2 years minimum)
VB.NET 2005 (2 years minimum)
ASP.NET 2.0 (3 years minimum)
ADO.NET (3 years minimum)
Either strong T-SQL or strong PL-SQL (4 years minimum)(PL-SQL preference)
HTML/DHTML/CSS (3 years minimum)
Desired Skills:
Windows Communication Foundation (WCF)
Windows Workflow Foundation (WWF or WF)
Oracle ODP for .NET
SQL Server 2005 Reporting Services
Experience with agile development and external product development is a plus.
Communication Skills:
