Gain an understanding of the big picture; direction of the various business units, and facilitate the transfer of this understanding to others in the supported business unit.<br>

Must have solid skills in front-end web coding including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Be able to create solid, user-friendly designs and have a portfolio of work to demonstrate first-hand experience. Required Skills:</b><br>
&#8226;	A Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Information Systems and 5 years experience in the support of  Intel based enterprise Microsoft servers. Related experience may be substituted by DSIT for the Bachelors degree on a year-for-year basis <br>
&#8226;	Strong oral and written communications skills to ensure customer understanding of requirements before sign-off.<br>
&#8226;	Strong oral skills and ability to speak in a clear and concise manner.<br>
&#8226;	Ability to maintain good working relationships with staff, users, management, vendors and other officials.<br>
&#8226;	Strong interpersonal skills<br>
&#8226;	Intermediate level of understanding of change management principles and processes<br>
&#8226;	Ability to effectively negotiate and facilitate problem resolution<br>
&#8226;	Ability to provide technical information to non-technical customers<br>
&#8226;	Must be self-motivated, able to work independently, and as a member of a team<br>
&#8226;	Will be responsible for Microsoft Servers including the following technologies: Active Directory, Microsoft SQL 2005 and 2008, SharePoint (MOSS and WSS), Exchange 2007, System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) and Operations Manager (SCOM), Citrix Presentation Server, ISA, Clustering, Hyper V, VMware, HP Servers, HP SANs, Hitachi SAN.  <br>
<b><br>
Role Description:</b><br>
Responsible for the analysis, development, modification, installation, testing and maintenance of operating systems software. Possesses a strong understanding of systems programming, graphical user interfaces and control languages. Evaluates vendor supplied software packages and makes recommendations to IT management. Modifies and/or debugs vendor-supplied utilities and packages. Modifies, installs and prepares technical documentation for system software applications. Diagnoses, isolates and de-bugs software problems and performs problem resolution. Monitors systems capacity and performance, plans and executes disaster recovery procedures and provides Tier 2 technical support.<br>
<b><br>
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:</b><br>
1.	Serve as administrator for setup, configuration and deployment of Microsoft Servers.<br>
a.	Responsible for supporting all Microsoft servers, systems, and applications <br>
b.	Perform liaison functions between various groups and teams<br>
c.	Customer site visits may be required (a valid SC drivers license will be required.)<br>
d.	Assist other technicians with daily configuration and monitoring of all servers, configuring resolutions for customer problems and must be able to mentor junior staff<br>
e.	Reports regularly to all DSIT Management <br>
2.	Communicates effectively and works cohesively with technology staff and business stakeholders. ]]></description>
