I don’t know the exact year this bicycle was built but my guess is the mid to late 1960’s. It was given to me by a friend who was cleaning out his garage. He gave it to me since he knew I liked old bicycles. It was dirty and dusty but was in excellent condition so I decided to overhaul it. That was about five or six years ago. It has the original beautiful green paint which is excellent.
I took it completely apart, cleaned and lubricated everything. I replaced the tires, tubes and rim liners but the rear tube is now leaking. I also replaced the cables, brake pads and rewrapped the handle bars. It is adjusted and shifts and stops well.
