This is a heavy, solid wood statement piece featuring intricate relief carvings and a commanding presence. The backrest, arms, and legs feature detailed hand-carved dragons (two-claw motif) and traditional architectural elements. The chair still bears the original auction lot #107 in chalk on the bottom frame—a great piece of provenance for collectors. (Other than bracing on the right rear leg), its in excellent vintage condition and priced accordingly. It is structurally sound, sturdy, and ready to be used as a desk chair or a focal point in a foyer or living room. I am in no hurry to sell, so I am looking for a buyer who appreciates the craftsmanship and history of this piece. Serious inquiries only, please.
Cash preferred. Too heavy to ship so, local meet-up preferred.
