Meet Prince and Ella. These two adorable animals have been together for one year and absolutely love each other so they’re a package deal. “Prince” Charming (the white one) is two years old and Cinder “Ella” is the other one is one. They are both very friendly, good with kids (I have two so I do know this for a fact) and of course they have their own personalities. Prince is very goofy and loves to play. Ella is sometimes playful but mostly curious and is always in search of the next interesting thing she can find. They are both as sweet as can be. We haven’t had them long, we bought them with the understanding that they had been raised in a home with dogs and that they haven’t been an issue, this is true, however my German Shepherd cannot leave them alone and we’re constantly worried about them getting stomped on, bitten or even swallowed whole. We hoped that maybe he would acclimate, but his prey drive is too strong. So sadly we are unable to keep them. They are both good at using the litter box so their cage stays fairly clean. And the wood pellets we use as litter is pretty cheap, $7 for a 50lb bag at Tractor Supply.

A few pointers if you’ve never owned a ferret.

-ferrets do have kind of a musky smell
-they need time out of their cage, so playtime and stimulation is a must.
-they are like toddlers, so they need constant supervision or a child/ferret proof room to roam
-Prince likes baths and swimming, Ella doesn’t really care either way.
-they are the funniest little pets and they’re more interactive than you’d expect and we’re sad to see them go

The price comes with everything you need (cage, food, bedding, etc.) and a few extra things.
