Hand built and sold by a Design and Remodeling Company out of North Charleston, SC in the 1980s and 1990s from reclaimed oak from Remodeling & Demo projects in the Charleston, SC area. The stool is well built, Stable, and sturdy(holds 'big guy' weight). Amazing how much heavier old oak is over modern timbered oak. Measures approximately 12 inches high by 12.5 inches by 12.5 inches.
