Job Description — Ice Hub Stock Delivery Driver
Position Title: Ice Hub Stock Delivery Driver
Pay Rate: $18/hour
Location(s): Columbia, SC → Charlotte, NC → Greenville, SC (approx. 8-hour route)
Employment Type: Part-Time, On-Demand (as stock is needed)
Key Responsibilities
• Load pallets of ice onto the box truck using a pallet jack.
• Ensure the reefer unit temperature remains steady throughout transit.
• Safely operate a 16-foot box truck in accordance with DOT guidelines.
• Unload ice at each location using a provided hand truck into ice boxes.
• Update ice box counts and maintain accurate stock records.
• Complete required DOT Time Record Sheets and Pre/Post Trip Inspection Logs.
• Communicate with dispatch regarding route updates and deliveries.
Requirements & Qualifications
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Must be willing to obtain a DOT Medical Card.
• Ability to lift at least 20 lbs and safely operate delivery equipment.
• Reliable smartphone for GPS and communication.
• Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated.
• Must follow all DOT and company safety protocols.
Additional Information
• Employment is on a 1099 basis.
• Pay is direct deposited on the 15th and 30th of each month.
• Truck, reefer unit, and equipment provided by the company.
• Route times and frequency depend on hub inventory levels.
