Eight years ago, I hand-built 10 high-end boutique Stratocasters using only the finest vintage-correct components — and I kept the absolute best one** for myself. Most of them were sold to big stage musicians. Now, it’s time to let it go.
This is a one-of-a-kind, no-expense-spared, vintage-inspired Strat built from Warmoth’s most premium tonewoods and upgraded far beyond anything Fender Custom Shop is putting out today.

Body: Chambered Black Korina (Warmoth special stock) with soft satin finish – lightweight, resonant, and visually stunning
Neck: Quartersawn Maple with Rosewood fretboard (Warmoth premium neck) – smooth, stable, and fast
Nut: Genuine Bone Tusq – hand-cut for perfect intonation and sustain
Pickups Rare David Allen Tru 62’s – authentic 1962 Strat tone with unmatched clarity and warmth. This set was made from examination of a 1962 Strat that had "The Tone". Alnico 5 magnets but we use our modern stagger to work with today's strings and flatter radius neck, and 42 ga wire all 3 are "F" 52mm spaced. This set will cover the 61 - 64 Strat tones so Knopfler ('61 Rosewood fret board), Rory, SRV "Scotch", Hendrix studio Strat and more.
