I have a 2 year old Male Cinnamon Pied Cockatiel named Cricket and a 6 year old Pearl Pied female Cockatiel named Eva that are both in need of a loving, forever home! I am sadly rehoming them only because we found out my boyfriend is terribly allergic to birds.

Cricket came from a wonderful Cockatiel breeder in Jamestown, SC who handfed and raised him from a baby. He is very healthy and has gorgeous colored feathers! Cricket is tame and can be handled once he gets to know you.

He LOVES to whistle and sing all day! He can wolf whistle and has made up his own whistling tunes. There is nothing he enjoys more than getting head scritches and hanging out with you everywhere on your shoulder! :)

Eva came from a bird rescue in Augusta, GA and she is a **special needs** Cockatiel!! Sadly, her life was the opposite of Cricket's as she came from a bird hoarder and was neglected. Eva was born with bowed legs and must be handled gently.

She has leg weakness and is not able to ride on shoulders or step up onto fingers due to not being able to grip very well with her feet. But otherwise she is very healthy and has absolutely no problems at all eating, drinking, and getting around the cage on her own.

Eva is reserved and skittish about being handled and will let you know with harmless nips when she wants to be left alone. But once she is out of the cage and warms up to you, she is a sweetheart!

They are both very spoiled and fed a high quality seed diet of Dr. Harvey's brand Cockatiel food. I highly recommend keeping them on the diet. It can be easily found and purchased on Amazon. (Example picture included)

Cricket and Eva are bonded and will not be separated! They are NOT breeders and will definitely not go to a home that intends on breeding them. They're wings and nails are kept clipped and trimmed regularly. I want Cricket and Eva to go to a bird experienced, adult only household.

Vet references WILL be requested and checked. There is a $150 rehoming fee for Cricket and Eva that is firm -- they are not free and will absolutely not be given away. Cage is NOT included as their current cage is borrowed. A 2lb bag of their food, treats, and a transport carrier will be provided to their new home.

No shipping or drop offs! I am more than happy to meet within a reasonable distance in Columbia, SC.

I will want to stay in contact with Eva and Cricket's new owner on how they are doing and kept updated with pictures. Let me know about yourself, bird experience, other pets in the household, and what kind of home you could give Cricket and Eva.... ect.

Please read the entire ad before contacting me and if you are seriously interested in giving Cricket & Eva a forever home, please feel free to text me. NO phone calls -- I do not answer calls from numbers I don't recognize.

SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY!! Eva and Cricket will only go with someone who'll give them the best home!
